London Bound**

Headed to London in the morning to kick of the start of the promotion for “On Mercy Street.”  Sitting in a local coffee shop in Derry  bleeding their internet dry, listening to the final Master of the new album only to realize there is a bum note on one track… hahaha… back to the studio I go.  Rome wasn't built in a day.  Once thats fixed that is it! We are done and one step closer..... to the final product.  Art work is also nearly finished just a “thank you” note and were there  It looks amazing, they made me look really cool.

to the final product.  Art work is also nearly finished just a “thank you” note and were there  It looks amazing, they.....

made me look really cool.

London tomorrow night to play with the most bad ass band I've ever played with “The Lindas” they are the band that played on the record and the good people I’m playing with tomorrow night… Haven't lifted a guitar in a week, so I bette get my lugs around one tonight.

Also i’m doing an interview with the talented “Music of Ayala,” for an Irish TV program, its gonna be a good weekend!

“The Very Best of Tour” is now well and truly over.  What a whirlwind of a tour it was.  52 shows of awesomeness.  I can’t thank each and everyone of you lot enough for coming out to watch us play.  Thank you, thank you & thank you.  I’ve said it once and I’ve said it a million times without you guy’s I would never be able to do what I love doing.  Thanks for spending your precious time and hard earned money with me on the road, on music, my shows and at www.HarkinHeadquarters.com  It truly is appreciated.

Even though the tour was amazing I’d be lying if I was to say I wasn't excited to come home… It was a long stint for me… I Was basically on the go for 9 moths straight.  A bit burnt out to say the least! But all good now, getting rejuvenated and ready to rock the socks off “On Mercy Street” in the fall.  Home is awesome! it hasn't stopped raining at all haha.  It’s so good to be home though… Ive been out in my camper van, done some fishing, some hiking, waterfalls, Guinness, making soap with my Mom & Dad in their www.shivonsoap.com shack and plenty of Ireland.  There is no place like home.

Also just got booked for the Rocky Mountain Irish festival in Estes park, Colorado!! Myself and Barry Kerr are busting to play and some more good news Rebecca Harkin is also playing solo at the festival too, there may be a few guest appearances here and there ;) !!!

  Check it out:  http://rockymountainirishfestival.com

Since we’ve been in Ireland too I have tonnes of new Irish ideas for the website www.harkinheadquarters.com you are gonna love it… what would you guys like us to stock  on the Irish section of HHQ???  Also some new final offers on the website have a look see. ;)

**********“On Mercy Street Tour” ******

We have started booking shows for the tour!!!!  It will start out in LA on the 31st Sept and then onward till Dec 22nd.  Give or take a day or 2… Keep your eyes peeled for dates

Kick starter campaign that I talked about in a previous blog is almost ready… I’m gonna need you guys more than I've ever needed before. x

Right I gotta run… gonna meet the wee sister for a meeting about her new album too!!! Its all go here in Derry this morning… Coffee number 3 on the way.

Keith, you are so welcome. Looking forward to your solo tour promoting your new CD and hope that Kansas City is going to be one of your stops. Anything Irish would be great to see on Harkin Headquarter. Some suggestion would be magnets, kitchen towels, coffee cups, jewelry, key rings and those beautiful Irish sweaters. Good to hear you are taking time to relax and enjoy your time off.

I am trembling with ANTI-----------CIPATION for "On Mercy Street" It takes a truly great artist to hear "ONE bum note" on the whole master. :) You know we are all behind your efforts and as soon as the kick-starter goes live we will be here for you.

An Irish section in HHQ would be great! Of course Shivon Soap must be showcased. Possibly some other cottage industry items too. Ya'll will figure it out. :) (I have a Yak wool throw from Nepal that my friend brought to me recently. Every time I look at it, I feel sad, wondering if that family is ok.:( )

I pray you are getting rested and recharged for your journey ahead; we don't want to hear of any more ER visits. Thank you for all that you do & for including us in your life.

London sounds exciting and you are certainly busy. I'm sure On Mercy Street will be fantastic seeing how you are such a perfectionist. Sorry for your rain. We are having beautiful sunny warm weather here in New Brunswick after our snowy winter. Hope you are headed this way on your solo tour. When does CT start up again? Hope you can fit them into your busy schedule! Doesn't sound like you are getting a lot of rest, but they say that a change is as good as a rest. Nothing like home!!

Ditto on the Irish sweaters, that would be great, maybe some of the knit caps too. Please keep us in LA informed of your play dates when you have them, early if possible so we can get those tickets. You are not an old soul, just very intelligent, a great businessman as well as artist and you will do well at whatever you do. You also have that 'gift of gab' my mom used to talk about (they came from Kilkenny originally) and I call that charm. It goes a very long way as you know. Anyway looking forward to the CD and your local shows too.

Hi there Keith! Love your fishing picture - it reminds me of my younger brother - especially the eyes! Glad you are getting some time to do some fun things at home - looking forward to your new album - ready to place an order when it is available. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the CT show in Jacksonville, FL on April 23rd. It was the first time I had ever seen you guys and I was not dissapointed - just wish it could have lasted longer! You are all so special and such wonderfully talented artists! God bless you all - forever and always!!

Keith, thanks for all the updates. Can't wait to get the new album and to see the tour dates. Of course we'll be here to help with whatever is needed. I'm so glad you were able to get the rest and relaxation you needed. Now you need to always listen to your body and slow down when warning signs are there. Safe travels to London and back to the states. Stay healthy . Hugs to you
    and your loved ones. Kat
