"Regular Joe. "

*********************************************   Regular Joe   ************************************************

So the new website is truly up an running… What you think?  It’s been a great week of touring.  This is the 1st tour I have ever done that I have got to sleep in my own bed for 4 nights in a row.  How did that happen you say?  I flew from Colorado Springs instead of the 2 day bus ride to LA...

Sooo worth it… I almost felt like a regular human being for a week. Finishing “work” and hopping in the car to go home and get the feet up.  Being a “regular Joe.” I toyed with the idea of a regular job for about 2 mins then got this weird shivering chill at the thought of staying still for more than a few days.  Screw that. haha

The LA show was great. So awesome to hear my buddies in the crowd.  It’s always fun playing to friends in the crowd.  The pressure seems to mount a bit more… in the fear of making a peach of a mistake and forever getting abuse for it till the end of time.  I thrive on pressure.  It makes me turn it on even more.  What ever “it” is?

I recorded a Video for you guys... enjoy... :)

What do you think of the new album name???  ****“ON MERCY STREET”***

My producer’s Gavin & Andy have been waiting on me to send guitar tracks from LA for almost 4 weeks.  Glad to get that done. Why didn't I just re-record them when i was in London at the Sphere studio, you ask?

It’s kinda funny… We tried recording them when I was doing the album but couldn’t.  Reason being was that the tuning I made up on the guitar when I penned it was so abnormal that I couldn't for the life of me remember how I tuned or played it.  So the only recording of the song in existence is the one that I recorded on my boat in LA.  Hence the reason that I had to wait to send them ones from my home studio on the boat.  The next time I play that song live is going to be interesting.  I think I'm going to have to sit down and do some serious homework on how I played it.  Ridiculous, I know.

I’ve started writing for the next album already too.  I know the album I just recorded isn't even out yet but since it was recorded the flood gates have just opened.  The hard-drive in my head has been cleared and made more room for new songs.  Awesome.  I’ve made my mind up and I'm going to record my new album in Ireland…. I know I sound crazy that my current album isn't even released yet and I'm planning the next… but hey.. if I don't do it.. who's gonna?

The surf trip that myself and the lads from Sligo went on with www.surfholidays.com made the front page of both the Irish Times and the Irish Times Magazine.  The write up was done by my good friend Seamus McGoldrick.  A big wave charger on the Irish coast and a philosopher in his own right.

Here is the link to the article…. and a few pics...

Anyways… gotta run, just about to hit the road once more. leaving tonight after an amazing show in Arizona.  Next stop San Jose CA.  No more sleeps in my own bed for a few months.  Ah well it was nice whilst it lasted.  Anyways, this is the life I choose.

You just gotta “Keep on Rolling.”

    To an UNregular regular Joe...

I says to myself, I'll never stop,
and this way boy, ye'll gather no moss.
You're a stone and you're rollin' whatever the cost.
You're a stone and you're rollin' whatever the cost.
I'll sing til I die, and play as I live
Footloose and free, I'll give all I can give.
You're a stone and you're rollin' whatever the cost.
You're a stone and you're rollin' whatever the cost.

Would this new song be the one you said you learned a new chord for? Things have been rather not your Regular Keith either for the past year so no wonder you didn't remember it. I cant ever see you being a Regular Joe - it would kill you in the long run - you would die little bits every day and then be gone. Please don't do that to the World...it needs you as YOU...it would leave a big gapping hole. It makes me happy to know the songs are flowing again. Wishing the best for you. #LYBM

Keith, love the video and rendition of Gentle On My Mind. Glen. Campbell would be proud. I think it's fantastic that your starting your next album and what better
place to start than home in
Ireland. I'm sure your family is excited about your return. Nothing like a little pampering
and love from mom and also a
little time alone to get the creative juices flowing. Can't wait to get On Mercy Street. Hugs!
